All of you must be wondering about gardening techniques. Here are some tips for gardening.
Trees
Over 2500 trees in permanent stock.
… Of trees evergreen or deciduous, ornamental for its leaves or flowers … are indispensable elements in a garden, being the “lucky plants are inherited” and passed from generation to generation.
Trees
Located in the outdoor area, all our trees are planted to provide container for all seasons.
Both deciduous and evergreen, have in the trunk diameters of between 12-14 to 20-25 cm.

ArboladoPoseemos a selection of over 50 different species. Selection based on the one hand, those species best adapted to areas of our area of commercial influence, and the other species or varieties of collectors. This is true of our different varieties of Acer medium size grafted directly imported from Italy ( “Crimson Queen”, “Green Globe”, “Red Dragon”, “Autumn Lace” …).
fruit
Examples of species that are popular you can find Celtis australis (Almez), Jacaranda mimosifolia, baileyana Acacia (mimosa), Ligustrum, Populus alba (poplar), camprestris Ulmus (elm), Prunus pissardii … plus more unusual species as Chorisia spesiosa, lagoon, Melia azedarach, Salix babylonica, Magnolia grandiflora, Tipuana Tipu, Liquidambar styraciflua, and so on.
Orchards
Orange fruit are traditionally deep-rooted trees of the garden. Therefore, we have a standing offer at our center. During the winter presented in bag or sack. And the rest of the year in pots, fully rooted and sprouting.
Orange, lemon, pear, apple, cherries, persimmons, medlar, fig, walnut, plum, almond, apricot, peach, pomegranate, etc.. Make up our catalog.
Palm
Decorativas, slender, graceful, flexible, elegant, stylish … own adjectives to describe this important group of plants such as palms.

The palm trees to give any garden, whether domestic or foreign, an exotic touch unmistakable, irresistible suggestion of a vacation, leisure and pleasure, a glimpse of the magical longed dreamed and desired earthly paradise.
These are all species of great beauty, either by the variety of colors and shapes of their leaves by way of its development. Among our offering are foreign species of Trachycarpus, Archontophoenix, and excelsa Chamaerops humilis, Washingtonia filifera, Phoenix canariensis, Phoenix roebelenii, Bismarckia nobilis … use indoors as Kentias, Areca, Cycas Chamaedorea … and, although the latter does not is owned by the family of the palm.
About twenty species in containers of 25 to 30 centimeters. In addition to these more conventional sizes, we have adults with several meters across.

Nano pyramids to kill cancer cells!
by Kanishka on Apr.05, 2009, under Tutorials and Articles
Although we know that it is possible to heat the gold nanoparticles with light to eliminate tumor cells, now, researchers from Northwestern University in the U.S., have quantified how these particles can be designed especially to optimize your photo-response when exposed to infrared light . The work, published in Nano Letters reviewed, will be pivotal in the future development of nanoparticles for cancer treatment.

Nanoparticles of noble metals generate heat when exposed to light. This heat can be used to destroy localized cancer cells without harming healthy surrounding tissue. The gold nanoparticles are ideal candidates for a photo-therapy because their optical properties can be tuned in the near infrared part of the electromagnetic spectrum. Moreover, they are bio compatible and safe, and their surfaces can be modified with antibodies directed toward specific receptors of tumor cells.
However, until now researchers have paid little attention to how you should design nanoparticles to achieve the photo-response more effective. As the director of the team, Teri Odom, nanoparticles have been tested as therapeutic agents based on their availability, rather than seeking to measure properties optimized.

“Our work seeks to identify the most important structural parameters for the design of nanoparticles of noble metals that may lead to a photo-optimized,” he said to nanotechweb.org. To do this, we evaluate how different sizes, shapes and thicknesses of pyramidal nanoparticles influenced the photo-response. ”
Comparing the amount of heat generated by four types of pyramid gold particles in solution when exposed to light of a near infrared laser, the team found that particles with structures thinner and more acute tips produced the greatest amount of heat . These particles would be best for the photo-therapy. To ensure that differences in geometry were the only ones responsible for the observed temperature rise, the researchers compared the absolute quantity of gold present in each set of particles.
“The results provided a simple platform to identify the most important structural features in the design of photo-nanoparticles for the treatment of cancer,” said Odom.
Scientists are now investigating the response of photo-nanopiramides in vitro using cells from breast cancer. To do this, first, the functionalising nanopirámides with antibodies that attack cancer cells, and then are irradiated with a laser of near infrared light to remove the cells.
Nanoparticles to carry genes that destroys tumors :
Nanotechnology has been used first to destroy cancer cells with a package of genes in tumors hunters “directed with great precision. The technique, which does not affect healthy cells, could offer hope to people with difficult to treat cancers, which is not possible to use surgery.
The study, conducted in the United Kingdom, was published online in the journal Cancer Research. Although time has only been tested on mice, researchers hope to conduct human trials in two years.
The genes wrapped in microscopic nanoparticles that were absorbed by cancer cells but not healthy for his neighbors. Once inside, the genes stimulated the production of a protein that destroys the cancer.

The researchers say that this technology could be especially relevant for people with cancers that can not operate too close to vital organs. And expect to be ultimately used to treat cancers that have spread.
The principal investigator, Dr. Andreas Schatzlein, Faculty of Pharmacy of London, said: “The gene therapy has great potential to create safe and effective treatments for cancer, but to introduce genes in cancer cells remains one of the main difficulties in this field. ”
“This is the first time that nanoparticles have managed to target tumors selectively so, what constitutes a great step forward in the field,” he added.
“Once inside the cell, the gene involved in the particle environment cancerous recognizes and is activated. The result is toxic, but only harmful to cells, leaving healthy tissue intact,” said Schatzlein.
Traditional Chemotherapy indiscriminately eliminates cells in the affected area of the body, causing side effects such as fatigue, hair loss or nausea. It is hoped that gene therapy has fewer side effects, attacking only the cancer cells.
According to Dr Lesley Walker, of the nonprofit Cancer Research UK: “These results are very encouraging and we look to see if you can use this method to treat cancer in people.”
Ain’t this Information pretty excellent and pretty relieving for the Cancer patients??

NanopartículasLa word “nanotechnology” is used extensively to define the science and techniques applied to a nanoscale level, that is extremely small measures “nanites” that can work and manipulate the atoms and their molecular structures. In short we take the possibility of producing materials and machines from the rearrangement of atoms and molecules. The development of this discipline is based on proposals of Richard Feynman (outline – history of nanotechnology).
The best definition of nanotechnology that we have found is this: Nanotechnology is the study, design, creation, synthesis, manipulation and application of materials, functional devices and systems through control of matter at the nano scale, and the exploitation of phenomena and properties of matter at the nano scale.
When handling the matter so minuscule scale of atoms and molecules, shows entirely new phenomena and properties. Therefore, scientists use nanotechnology to create materials, devices and systems with innovative and inexpensive unique properties
We are interested in, rather than its concept, which is potentially within the set of current research and applications whose purpose is to create new structures and products that have a large impact on industry, medicine (nanomedicine), etc. ..
nanoparticulasEsta new structures with atomic precision, such as carbon nanotubes, or small instruments inside the human body can be incorporated into a new era, as stated by Charles Vest (former president of MIT). Advances in nanotechnology protagonizarían this knowledge society with a multitude of developments with a great impact on their social and instrumentation business.

Nanoscience is linked in large measure from the 80′s with Drexler and his contributions to “molecular nanotechnology”, ie the construction of nanomachines made of atoms that are themselves able to build other molecular components. Since then Eric Drexler (personal webpage) is considered one of the most visionary on this issue. Already in 1986, in his book “Engines of Creation” made the promises and perils of molecular manipulation. Currently chairs the Foresight Institute.
nanotubosEl father of “nanoscience” is considered to Richard Feynman, Nobel Laureate in Physics, who in 1959 proposed to manufacture products based on a rearrangement of atoms and molecules. In 1959, the great physicist who wrote an article analyzing how computers work with individual atoms may consume very little energy and amazing speeds.
There is a strong consensus that nanotechnology will lead to a second industrial revolution in the twenty-first century as announced a few years ago, Charles Vest (former president of MIT).
nanotubosSupondra many advances in many industries and new materials with extraordinary properties (developing materials stronger than steel but with only ten percent weight), new software components unbelievably faster or molecular sensors capable of detecting and destroying cancer cells in dedlicadas parts of the human body as the brain, among many other applications.
We can say that much progress in nanoscience will be among the technological breakthroughs that will change the world.
Thrill seeker skydives blind : Part 2

How’s this for extreme!
On location in Miami last month, talking to these skydivers about some crazy guy that was about to do a 14,000ft jump – without being able to see!
According to them, the only way he would know the correct altitude to pull his parachute cord at, was if another skydiver taps him on the leg mid free fall.
Once he had landed, I got his name – Eric – from a label stitched onto his jumpsuit. He wasn’t giving too much away. What I did find out is that not only does he do stuff like this all the time, but also that he’s the face of an international advertising campaign, where consumers have the chance of winning a life as exciting as his.
