Why do you Need Life Insurance!

by on Apr.20, 2012, under Videos

Why Arrange Life Insurance Cover?

One thing none of us want to think about is our own deaths. Beyond the fact that we’d no longer be able to experience life, we can also leave our families with huge obligations. From loans, mortgages to more complex expenses that our passing would force our families and loved ones to cope with; doesn’t it make sense to have protection?

To sort these financial problems out, you need life insurance. It’s the one definite way that something positive can come out of a bereavement and it is a suitable policy for most people. It is simply a case of determining how much life insurance is suitable, and this can be based on a person’s dependents and business situation.

Beyond funeral expenses, many of us provide valuable contributions to our families. If a family looses the primary care giver for its children, someone will have to provide care. This can come in the form of a nanny or other person who will need to be paid. This represents a financial burden that can ruin all financial planning.

Life insurance is a protection against unforeseen events. None of us plan on passing on, yet random occurrences happen every day. Because these events can happen and people are counting on you, both for emotional support and for what you can bring to any sort of commitment; it’s important to make sure that they will be protected against anything that could happen to you.

Life insurance is a way to save money, for instance with the funeral itself which can often cost in excess of 7,000. If that is paid for by the policy then the money which would have had to be found by the grieving family can be put to other uses.

That’s an even better reason to have life insurance. Having to produce the 7,000 for a funeral, in addition to other liabilities might be passed on is a huge burden that can force loved ones out of their home and cause horrific amounts of chaos.

Property, the estate of those who die, can be heavily taxed, as much as 55% and is worth reading about inheritance tax. But life insurance can alleviate further problems and stop your inheritors losing out to taxes.

Non of us want to pass on and as traumatic as our passing might be, responsible planning can prevent our friends, family and loved ones from going through financial grief at our passing. We won’t always be around to protect them, but we can allow them to get on with their lives without paying our liabilities.

Life insurance always seems like a great expense but when you are gone your family can’t afford not to have it.

Notion Ink’s Adam , Apple’s iPad Killer.Really?(Comparison)

by on Feb.23, 2010, under Tutorials and Articles

You people would have heard about Ipad recently being announced by Apple. It is expected to be the breakthrough in the E-Business works especially helping you to read documents and ebook just like you do as in the normal paper copy.It also supports many multimedia features like Videos , Internet , Music , FM etc.Ipad is undoubtedly the next generation ebook reader but before it rolls out in market there is another product ,Adam, termed as Ipad killer, is rolling out at same time as of Ipad. Designed by an alumunus of National Institute of Design India, Makarand Kulkarni, Notion Ink’s Adam is another tablet PC. Here are few comparisons of why Adam has edge over Ipad.
adamtablet
1)Dimensions:

Measuring 6.3 x 9.8 x 0.6 inches, Adam weighs around 770 gms. Adam has two versions, one is 12.9mm and the other is 11.4mm in thickness. Both versions are slimmer than iPad which is 13.4mm in thickness.

While Apple’s iPad measures 9.56 inches in height, 7.47 in width and 0.5 inch in depth. iPad weighs 1.5 lbs (0.68 kg), the 3G version is 0.1 pounds heavier.

2)Display:

Adam boasts of a 10-inch Pixel Qi transflective display, a capacitive touchscreen capable of recognizing six simultaneous points of contact. Pixel Qi’s technology offers two different modes: full colour LCD for indoor use or in a low-power reflective mode that actually gets brighter when more direct sunlight falls upon it.

iPad has a 9.7-inch LCD colour screen. The device uses iPhone’s multi-touch technology, Apple’s Magic Mouse, and the company’s trackpad technology found in some of the company’s laptops.

3)Camera

Adam supports a 3 megapixel swivel auto focus camera. This implies that the device will support video calling.

However, Apple’s iPad lacks camera. Lack of camera being widely seen as a negative in iPad as the device is said to be placed somewhere between a smartphone and laptop.
adamtablet2
4)Video Output

Adam has HDMI-out and 3 USB ports, and can output video at 1080p resolution.

However, there is no facility for HDMI output in iPad. This means users will not be able to view HD videos on a large TV screen even if they have downloaded the same from iTunes. The Apple device can playback at 720p HD video.

5)Processor

Adam is powered by Nvidia Tegra 2 chip which runs at 1GHz and acts as both a CPU and graphics card in one. It will run on Google’s Android OS.

iPad runs a version of the iPhone’s operating system. The iPad has a 1GHz chip that is custom designed by Apple.

6)Memory

Adam will come in 16GB or 32GB versions.

Apple iPad will come in 16, 32 and 64GB versions.
appleipad
7)Multi-Tasking

According to Adam creator Notion Ink, the Tablet will support multitasking. This means the device will be able to run several applications in parallel.

However, there is no multitasking option in iPad’s OS. This means for example users can’t listen to FM while they surfing the Web, or switch back and forth between Facebook or Twitter, or write an email while talking on a VOIP call.

8)Flash Support

Adam offers support for Flash, video standard used for viewing websites. However, iPad doesn’t offer support for Flash.

This means users will encounter those `big, empty video boxes in the middle of a page’ while surfing on the pages which require Adobe Flash. Youtube will be supported just like in iPhone but no Flash games. In iPhone 3GS too when users browse through Web pages with Adobe Flash, it displays empty spaces with missing icons.

9)Connectivity

Adam packs WiFi, 3G, Bluetooth, a pile of sensors and accelerometers and GPS.

Apple iPad supports both WiFi and Bluetooth connectivity. The WiFi antenna supports 802.11 a/b/g/n. The device also packs GPS.
appleipad2
10)Memory Card Slot

Apple’s iPad doesn’t offer SD card slot which means users cannot expand their memory.

Adam which comes in 16 and 32GB storage options offers SD card slot.

11)Battery

According to Notion Ink, Adam will be able to play music for up to 25 days, 16 hours of internet browsing and play high definition video for 8 hours. According to reports, Adam integrates two breakthrough power saving components that promises twice the battery life of Apple iPad.

iPad offers battery life of up to 10 hours. The standby time is approximately a month.

12)Applications(Apps)

Notion Ink has planned an App competition offering $1,000,000 prize money for the best Adam-compatible app.

Apple’s iPad can use virtually all the over 140,000 apps currently available for the iPhone. However, iPad will let you download applications only from Apple’s AppStore. iPad doesn’t allow users to download any apps other than from the App Store.

13)Price

The Adam is expected to cost about $325.

iPad’s 16GB version of the basic Wi-Fi model will sell for $499. A 32GB version will cost $599, and a 64GB device will be $699. The 3G models won’t be available until April. Those will range in price from $629 to $829.

The only BIG difference between iPad and Adam could be the research expenditure done on them before development. And undoubtedly , iPad stands way ahead of Adam in research done.

People, let me know your views about this by posting comments.

My Forex Experience!

by on Oct.13, 2009, under Tutorials and Articles

Hey people,

Most of you must be knowing what forex is, in general .When we talk about forex we generally talk about trading currencies and doing stuffs related to it. Even i wondered whether doing forex was as easy as trading in stock exchange.Let me tell you that in forex there are hell alot terms to be learnt and you really require much brain for ,so called, forexing . You require to do loads of calculation in order to make profit out of it where as if we talk about stock exchange trading , we require to research and have knowledge about shares . In fact , these two are pretty much different from one another . Let me tell you honestly if you compare good trader in forex to good trader in Stock exchange , there is a 90% chance that the forex trader would earn more. Well this may sound a bit strange(Before, even if felt it strange) because the liquidity of forex is much more than that of stocks . Also , the forex is open 24X5 i.e. 24 hours on weekdays , where as Stock exchange open generally for 8-10 hours .

These all were the reasons which inspired me to go and checkout the forex and do some miracles which I have been doing during stock trading. Best thing about forex is that the online brokers provide a demo account. Now ,
Q.What is demo account?
Ans. Demo account is the account provided by the forex broker to the user in which the user can trade in the forex market but with virtual money i.e. you don’t have to submit any money to the broker to trade in the forex market. This feature given by the forex brokers is very important for the beginners . They can trade live online with virtual money and get to know the ups and downs of the market. How to use the features of broker. In demo account , everything is original except for the money..

For Beginners:

I referred and learnt alot from websites BabyPips & ForexFactory . I would recommend you to go to these websites and see the tutorials . They have arranged it in very nice way.If you don’t like the content(which is unlikely to happen) you may google for forex lessons !

Let me warn the beginner/newbies that forex trading is very very risky! You require to invest large amount in it in order to gain the appreciable amount of profit ,but remember if you can get profit out of it so there is a big chance of having loss as well, actually a BIG LOSS!So do trading in demo account for atleast 3-4 months, get to know the different currencies , their plus points , their minus points and ,if possible, try and make notes of it. Once you are experienced , go for a live account invest some good amount and be ready to face the consequences , there’s right saying “No Pain , No Gain” .

Now my experience , I have not much experience of Forex trading , so right now i am confined to demo accounts only . Recently i opened another demo account in ZuluTrade( though you can open in any broker website) . They have good user interface and we get $50,000 Equity initially to do the virtual trading. You can call it my luck or my learning speed that from the very beginning I started to to make profit . And let me tell you the profit was not small it was huge.

Profit in Pips in 4 days

Profit in Pips in 4 days

I made profit 1100 pippets in first 4 days only!!!Let me tell you 1100 pippetes were approximately equal to $12000 but again let me tell you that i was trading with $50,000 virtual equity , which anyone hardly trades . Though the profit % was still good . Again after seeing such good progress i tried to see how much best i could earn in 1 day and honestly speaking , after seeing the profit for the day I was extremely delighted I earned profit of 2000 Pippetes in just ONE DAY!That makes around $20,000 profit in a day! I was cursing myself why didn’t i open a live account but anyways you never know what can happen in future .

.

Forex Profit

Forex Profit

I am now not trading currently due to some personal reasons but i would surely trade in near by future and that too with live account. I fell that i still need to learn much more in forex trading before going to the live account .

So again let me tell you people that forex trading isn’t easy at all , it requires pretty much of skills of humans , so learn forex , do demo trading for 3-4 months and then only go for live account .

Put-Pocketing

by on Aug.24, 2009, under Videos

Ex-pickpockets putting money directly back into British pockets

LONDON, 19th August 2009 – A new initiative is turning pickpocketing on its head by using ex-pickpockets to put money into Briton’s pockets on the sly.

“Put-Pocketing” is the act of secretly putting money into someone’s pocket without them noticing, and is the challenge faced by a team of 20 specialist “put-pockets” in a current scheme being rolled out nationwide.

People who have been “Put-Pocketed” will find money – ranging from a £5 or £20 note – in their pocket. They will also find attached to this a small card with a short message from the project sponsors, TalkTalk.

Former pickpocket and now TalkTalk Head of Put-Pocketing, Chris Fitch, said: “It feels good to give something back for a change – and Britons certainly need it in the current economic climate. Every time I put money back in someone’s pocket I feel less guilty about the fact I spent many years taking it out. Put-Pocketing is just as much of a challenge, and requires all the same stealth and skills”.

Mark Schmid of TalkTalk said “With so many scams out there, Britons have become very sceptical of companies giving money away – so we have turned to Put-Pocketing to give something back. Whilst unconventional, we don’t think anyone is going to mind finding a crisp £20 in their pocket courtesy of the activity”.

The initiative is led by phone and broadband provider, TalkTalk, who launched the activity to brighten up Britons lives in unusual ways.

The Put-Pocketing initiative has been piloted in London since July 1st, and will continue until the end of August before being rolled out nationwide to major UK cities. London locations being targeted include Leicester Square, Oxford Circus, Covent Garden, Westminster, Trafalgar Square and The South Bank, as well as the tube network. Signs proclaiming “Rejoice! Put pockets operating in this area” are being displayed across activity areas to help Britons distinguish between TalkTalk Put-Pocketing and real pick pockets.

Mr Schmid said: “The activity will avoid the City and Canary Wharf financial areas as we want to give the money to people who actually need it. The Put-Pockets have actually been briefed to avoid people that look like they are very well-off”.

To see the Put-Pockets in action on London’s streets, please visit www.talktalkblog.co.uk or www.youtube.com/user/talktalkvids

The Put-Pocketing teams were recruited specifically for the task and include ex-pickpockets who have to demonstrate their skill in a specially adapted interview which focuses on sleight of hand and in-field skill. Once in the team, Put-Pockets are briefed on who to target, and where. They are given a specific ID to show to public if caught in the act, and have plain-clothed minders who will intervene to calm and explain the situation if spotted. In addition, the Metropolitan police have been briefed on the activity so Put-Pockets aren’t arrested. However, to date, no-one has been caught red-handed.

Michael Jackson! R.I.P!

by on Jul.06, 2009, under Tutorials and Articles

Michael Jackson the singer was also Michael Jackson the billion-dollar business.

Yet after selling more than 61 million albums in the US and having a decade-long attraction open at Disney theme parks, the “King of Pop” died Thursday at age 50 reportedly awash in about $400 million in debt, on the cusp of a final comeback after well over a decade of scandal.

Michael Jackson died at the UCLA Medical Center after being stricken at his rented home in Holmby Hills. Paramedics tried to resuscitate him at his home for nearly three-quarters of an hour, then rushed him to the hospital, where doctors continued to work on him.
michael-jackson
“It is believed he suffered cardiac arrest in his home. However, the cause of his death is unknown until results of the autopsy are known,” his brother Jermaine said. Police said they were investigating, standard procedure in high-profile cases.
The moonwalking pop star drove the growth of music videos, vaulting cable channel MTV into the popular mainstream after its launch in 1981. His 1982 hit “Thriller,” still the second best-selling U.S. album of all time, spawned a John Landis-directed music video that MTV played every hour on the hour.

“The ratings were three or four times what they were normally every time the video came on,” said Judy McGrath, the chairman and CEO of Viacom Inc.’s MTV Networks. “He was inextricably tied to the so-called MTV generation.”

Five years later, “Bad” sold 22 million copies. In 1991, he signed a $65 million recording deal with Sony.

Jackson was so popular that The Walt Disney Co. hitched its wagon to his star in 1986, opening a 3-D movie at its parks called “Captain EO,” executive produced by George Lucas and directed by Francis Ford Coppola. The last attraction in Paris closed 12 years later.

One of Jackson’s shrewdest deals at the height of his fame in 1985 was the $47.5 million acquisition of ATV Music, which owned the copyright to songs written by the Beatles’ John Lennon and Paul McCartney. The catalog provided Jackson a steady stream of income and the ability to afford a lavish lifestyle.

He bought the sprawling Neverland ranch in 1988 for $14.6 million, a fantasy-like 2,500-acre property nestled in the hills of Santa Barbara County’s wine country.

But the bombshell hit in 1993 when he was accused of molesting a 13-year-old boy.

“That kind of represents the beginning of the walk down a tragic path, financially, emotionally, spiritually, psychologically, legally,” said Michael Levine, his publicist at the time.
jackson-michael1
He settled with the boy’s family, but other accounts of his alleged pedophilia began to emerge.

When he ran into further financial problems, he agreed to a deal with Sony in 1995 to merge ATV with Sony’s library of songs and sold Sony music publishing rights for $95 million. Then in 2001, he used his half of the ATV assets as collateral to secure $200 million in loans from Bank of America.

As his financial problems continued, Jackson began to borrow large sums of money, according to a 2002 lawsuit by Union Finance & Investment Corp. that sought $12 million in unpaid fees and expenses.

In 2003, Jackson was arrested on charges that he molested another 13-year-old boy. The 2005 trial, which ultimately ended in an acquittal, brought to light more details of Jackson’s strained finances.

One forensic accountant testified that the singer had an “ongoing cash crisis” and was spending $20 million to $30 million more per year than he earned.

In March of last year, the singer faced foreclosure on Neverland. He also repeatedly failed to make mortgage payments on a house in Los Angeles that had been used for years by his family.

In addition, Jackson was forced to defend himself against a slew of lawsuits in recent years, including a $7 million claim from Sheik Abdulla bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the second son of the king of Bahrain.

Memorabilia auctions were frequently announced but became the subject of legal wrangling and were often canceled.

Time and again, however, Jackson found a way to wring cash out of high-value assets, borrowing tens of millions at a time or leaning on wealthy friends for advice, if not for money.

Al Khalifa, 33, took Jackson under his wing after his acquittal, moving him to the small Gulf estate and showering him with money.

In his lawsuit, Al Khalifa claimed he gave Jackson millions of dollars to help shore up his finances, cut an album, write an autobiography and subsidize his lifestyle, including more than $300,000 for a “motivational guru.” The lawsuit was settled last year for an undisclosed amount. Neither the album nor book was ever produced.
michael-jackson2
Another wealthy benefactor came to Jackson’s aid last year as he faced the prospect of losing Neverland in a public auction.

Billionaire Thomas Barrack, chairman and CEO of Los Angeles-based real estate investment firm Colony Capital LLC, agreed to bail out the singer and set up a joint venture with Jackson that took ownership of the vast estate.

Barrack was unavailable for comment Thursday, but referred to the singer in a statement as a “gentle, talented and compassionate man.”

A final piece of the financial jigsaw puzzle fell into place in March, when billionaire Philip Anschutz’ concert promotion company AEG Live announced it would promote 50 shows in London’s O2 arena. Tickets sold out, and the first show of the “This is It” tour was set for July 8.

Jackson, who has won 13 Grammys, hadn’t toured since 1997. His last studio album, “Invincible,” was released in 2001.

But the opening date was later postponed to July 13 and some shows moved back to March 2010, fueling speculation that Jackson was suffering from health ailments that could curtail his comeback bid.

His death, caused by cardiac arrest according to his brother Jermaine, raised the question whether an insurer would refund money to ticket-holders. AEG Live did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

Jackson was practicing for the concert in Los Angeles at the Staples Center with Kenny Ortega, a choreographer and director of the “High School Musical” movies, who has worked on previous Jackson videos like “Dangerous” in 1993.

“We had a 25-year friendship. This is all too much to comprehend,” Ortega said in a statement. “This was the world’s greatest performer and the world will miss him.”
